Phanar was founded by Oscar Jonson in 2003. After many years advising high net worth individuals and family offices at large institutions, he founded a firm to serve clients’ needs in a bespoke way.

As an independent asset management company, Phanar provides innovative wealth management services to individuals and institutions. Phanar adapts routinely to changes in financial market conditions and the regulatory environment. Because our firm is independent, we avoid the conflicts that may arise when working alongside a banking or lending business.

Our strategy

Phanar makes use of capital market theory assuring a rigorous and disciplined approach to investing. Our strategy is to leverage scalable internal process and platform to grow the asset under management base agressively through asset appreciation, new client acquisition by existing bankers, hiring of well-established senior bankers and through acquisition.

Phanar provides proactive, high-touch service to its clients. Awareness of investment risk and of clients’ risk tolerance are key aspects of our work. We are supported by a well-regarded international team of independent advisors and a carefully devised decision-making process.  Careful attention to asset allocation helps us to manage wealth with due regard to risk.
